The Queen’s University Chapter of Synapsis is a dynamic student-led organization that bridges the gap between biotechnology education and hands-on research. As part of a broader network of Synapsis chapters across Canadian universities, our mission is to empower students with cutting-edge skills in fields like synthetic biology, gene editing (CRISPR), artificial intelligence, and personalized medicine. Our chapter collaborates with industry professionals and research labs, offering members real-world project experience and opportunities for mentorship. We aim to foster innovation and leadership, preparing our students to solve the most pressing challenges in life sciences and biotechnology.
